We are delighted to announce that eTRV+ by Chalmor has been selected as one of the RBS Innovation Gateway winners, to be trialled by the Royal Bank of Scotland  on their estate.

RBS Innovation Gateway winners announced at a brilliant day hosted by the RBS Team.

RBS launched the Innovation Gateway in March this year with the aims of improving energy efficiency across their estate of 2,500 buildings and of supporting SME innovators.

The Innovation Gateway received 140 UK and international submissions, which were shortlisted to 26 for the 10th of November finalist day in London. The day kicked off with a product fair, followed by Dragon’s Den style pitches and in the evening, a dinner with winner announcements hosted by RBS Deputy CEO, Chris Sullivan. Chalmor’s eTRV+ was announced a winner, along with 15 other concept and market ready innovations.

eTRV+ is an energy saving heating device which fits to radiators, enabling room by room heating control. eTRV+ has been proven to provide up to 30% energy savings, by automatically only heating the rooms you are using and preventing overheating. It is suitable for any building with a radiator system, its flexibility making eTRV+ an ideal choice to suit RBS’ broad and varied estate.

A great deal of work went in, culminating in Monday’s product fair, pitches and dinner, all of which provided us with an excellent showcase and an opportunity to build relationships with RBS, the other innovators and representatives from a wide range of industries. We are delighted to have been chosen and look forward to the next steps, trialling with the RBS estate and their partners”.
