The new EasiFit T5 kit from Chalmor provides a fast and cost effective way to upgrade existing light fittings equipped with T8 lamps to longer-lasting,
more efficient, higher output T5 lamps.

Modern T5 linear fluorescent tubes are nearly 50% more efficient than older T8 tubes, providing higher light output and longer life. Upgrading to T5 lighting, therefore, saves energy and reduces the maintenance costs associated with replacing tubes. Typical payback times are around 1 year based on lighting used 24/7 and less than 3 years for 10 hours per day.

EasiFit T5 is a complete kit for converting existing T8 light fittings – using either conventional or low loss ballasts – to energy efficient T5 lamps. The kit requires no specialist electrical skills and takes less than five minutes per light fitting to install. EasiFit T5 reduces upgrade costs by 70%, compared to installing new T5 fittings, while providing all of the benefits of T5 lighting.
