Soft Landings
To ensure our projects continue to improve the operational performance of buildings, Chalmor offers a bespoke Soft Landing Service, which ensures that we remain involved with the buildings beyond the completion of the installation, to help fine-tune and de-bug the systems in the early months and onwards, and help our clients understand how best to control and utitilise their building’s lighting and heating.
Soft Landings provides a unified method for engaging with our clients throughout the installation process including:

Lighting and heating design
Installation
Commissioning delivery
Subsequent revisit until energy savings are optimal
Our approach dovetails with energy performance certification, building logbooks, green leases, and corporate social responsibility.
We ensure greater clarity at the inception and briefing stages to identify exact client needs and desires.
In all our schemes we work closely with the project management team during the pre-handover and commissioning stages to ensure complete readiness of the building.
We remain involved after completion/occupation, during and beyond the defects liability period in order to resolve any outstanding issues.
Our typical aftercare period is three years, which ensures continuing involvement from Chalmor, helping our clients achieve the optimum from their installation. All those involved learns through the experience, and effectiveness is measured through client satisfaction surveys and energy monitoring.
