Lighting
- Regularly re-commission control systems – make sure controls are doing what you want and that they are appropriately set to your requirements

- Ensure all areas with >1kw lighting load is controlled – lighting controls can save 40% plus in most areas!
- Ensure all areas that have electric heating is very well controlled and consider using movement sensors with temperature set-back so electric heating only operates when needed
- Consider Carbon Trust Loans or Chalmor’s LifeSaver “Pay as You Save” options where the energy savings finance the cost of your project without capital outlay!
- Keep a regular check on utility meter readings to spot any surprise adverse trends and verify the bills when they arrive!
Heating
- Regularly check time clock settings are in line with requirements – up grade any time controls that can’t offer the flexibility to suit your requirements
