Lighting
- Regularly re-commission control systems – make sure controls are doing what you want and that they are appropriately set to your requirements
- Don’t pay for darkness – ensure lamps are within their quoted operating life. Old fluorescent lights may still work but suffer from rapidly deteriorating light output
- Switch to energy efficient, long life lighting – Use Chalmor's ReNew T5 to upgrade fluorescent fittings to energy efficient, long life T5 fluorescent lamps
- Replace Metal Halide and SON lighting with our Endurance or Intelligence fittings, which both allow the introduction of occupancy and or daylight controls to used

Heating
- Regularly check time clock settings are in line with requirements – up grade any time controls that can’t offer the flexibility to suit your requirements
- Regularly check thermostat settings – 1oC over heating could add 8% to your heating bill!
- Staff complaining about temperature control? - Switch your Thermostatic Radiator Valves (TRV) to Chalmor’s new unique electronic thermostatic radiator valve (eTRV)
